GEOTUBE® dewatering containers are an effective dewatering technology fabricated from a specially engineered woven geotextile which provides confinement of the solids, while allowing the liquids to flow through the pores of the geotextile. As the material consolidates within the GEOTUBE unit, its volume reduces drastically over time. Once fully consolidated, the GEOTUBE units can be buried in place or be cut open and solids removed to a landfill.
